The sub I got was randomly selected by our sub finding system. Heard some bad reports.... Kids completely out of control, screaming, etc. He had the IAs round up the kids after lunch so he could take recess time away from all of them.
Really?? That's ridiculous. Makes me not want to be out ever again.

ReplyDeleteI am trying to learn how to not be *that* sub, and I'm new to subbing. But I get overwhelmed in regular ed classrooms, and find myself skulking back to my comfort zone, which is early childhood special ed (ratio of kids to adults is better!!!!!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteI do choose the "difficult" schools, but I am struggling so much trying to achieve something with the kids but yet not be a monster/"mean" sub.
Any thoughts/advice?!
